I signed up on your website in January 2004 after a long and hard break up. I had never done this before since I had no problem finding boyfriends in the past. But I was new to the area and did not know anyone. I had only lived in the Dallas area for eight months.
In April 2004, I received an email from someone with the username TXWATERFOWER and decided to answer it. It was just a general email, nothing spectacular. We emailed each other for a while and then started instant messaging on a daily basis. With a little push from a friend of mine, I finally agreed to get a phone call from him.
We talked as if we had known each other for years. We finally decided to meet each other face-to-face in June 2004. On our first date he was very shy, and I had to do all the talking. I had never met anyone like him. Most other guys have had no trouble talking to me. But in July 2004, we went on a road trip together, and we finally became closer. At that point we had decided we were going to give it a try and see where it led us.
On New Year's Day 2005, he told me he loved me for the first time. I was very excited because I felt the same way. So, on Valentine's Day 2006, he proposed, and I said "yes".
In October 2006, we finally said our "I do's," and we have been living happily ever since.

Finding true love on the internet truly does work, but you have to believe there is someone out there for you.
