I can't even imagine what my life would be like now had it not been for your site. I was trying to get over a heart breaking relationship when a friend told me about your site. I'm not usually one for doing this kind of thing, but I decided to take a look. After all, it couldn't hurt any more that it did then.
I was amazed at the number of singles listed. Even in MY age group. I proceeded to read through several but couldn't quite get up the courage to respond to any. So I decided to sleep on it. The next evening I returned to the site and put my own profile online. It must have taken me an hour to complete it, as detailed as it was.
The very next day I received my first reply. I was really nervous but answered right away. After a few e-mails back and forth, I decided he wasn't really my type. A few days later, I received another reply. So again, I answered right away. The next day there was an answer in my e-mail. He sounded too good to be true. Could he possibly be this good, exactly what I was looking for? We started communicating on ICQ every evening. Things were going great. Then he said he wanted to meet me. I was hesitant at first, but he really sounded so sweet. He was from the Michigan UP, and I'm from the Chicago area. We set a date, and he came down for the weekend. WOW! I really think it was love at first sight. Two weeks later I was traveling to see him. This continued for about two months. Then we were engaged. A few months later, he was relocating to be with me.
My life is like a fairy tale come true. We are now married and are very much in love. He is my knight in shining armor. THANK YOU.
